This is the story of the entwined lives of assasssin James Earl Ray and his target "Dr. Martin Luther King" A mans word is his bond and Martin Luther King promised the Memphis Tennessee Sanitation workers his help.During a seven week strike that had men women ,children with "I am A Man" signs with 3,000 people on one protest march.At that time they were making eighty cents a day.One thing that precipated the strike was when two of their workers were crushed in the trucks compactor and didn't have enough money to bury them.As history recorded Mr. King kept his word and gave a riveting speech under inspiration as some would say.Non violent strike was not a theory with him but a way of life.. I tried counting my many blessings today and I lost count,I woke up alive, rested well, weather cleared for safe passage to work, trains ran ontime,directions were given.Hot breakfast.I worked today at my chosen profession.Met colleagues on the job.Then I went to my second job which is 2010 census and I didn't lose count of that.
